Our mothers are some of the most beautiful women we know (inside and out). Despite the constantly changing hair and beauty trends, some of the best timeless beauty advice we have received come from these incredible women. So in celebration of moms everywhere this Mother’s Day, we’ve rounded up the best beauty tips we have our mamas to thank for!My mum taught me 2 things when it came to my hair; don't wash it every day and never go to bed with wet hair! These 2 tips stuck with me since I was little and I still swear by them! - Tom, Head of Brand
I follow it to this day. I only use cleansers (double cleansing of course) at night! This keeps my skin moisture barrier healthy in the long run. Mama knows best! - Kapie, Design Lead
And there were never mascara stains on my pillows again. I think of this no matter how late I head to bed… must. do. nighttime. Skin. routine - Christy, Influencer & Partnerships Manager

One of the biggest lessons mom taught me is how important self-care is. No matter how busy she is with her long work hours, she never fails to make time for her massages, monthly facials, hair treatments and shopping sprees — and it’s not just for superficial reasons. It’s truly for a peace of mind because when you take care of yourself, you then have more to give to others. — Vidhya, Marketing Specialist
My mother’s advice to me was to always protect your skin from harmful UV rays. She would always insist on me bringing a UV umbrella with me, and to apply sunscreen religiously but i’d dismiss it. As i grew older, I learnt more about how harmful UV rays can be to the skin, and now I never forgot to follow her advice! - Jeanna, Customer Service Manager
The best piece of beauty advice from my mom is to always wear sunscreen! I didn’t follow it when I was younger but I regret it now. Sun damage is real 😭 - Chloe, Marketing Specialist
My mum & I would wait for the gift with purchase bags from Clinique. It was a big highlight for us to go into the department store and get it before it sells out. Then we would share the little gifts out between us all. - Emily, Brand Director
